$2,200 incl GST, payable on enrolment.
Course fee includes
Student version of Autodesk software (includes AutoCAD®), a textbook and equipment.
Achievement
Certificate in Computer Drafting & Design. (AutoCAD® & Drafting Standards).
Trainees must:
- attend all tutorials
- complete all weekly assignments (approximately five hours a week)
- provide their own computer, which is capable of running the Inventor® software (check specifications on Autodesk website).
Tutorials overview
- Tutorial 1 – Set up AutoCAD® software. Create a template. Practice using AutoCAD® tools. Practice geometry examples.
- Tutorial 2 - AutoCAD® tools. Introduction to 3rd angle projection.
- Tutorial 3 – Use AutoCAD® in 3rd angle projection.
- Tutorial 4 – Use AutoCAD® in 3rd and 1st angle projection.
- Tutorial 5 – Use AutoCAD® in pictorial drawing. Oblique and isometric projection.
- Tutorial 6 – Use AutoCAD® for detail and assembly drawing used in engineering.
- Tutorial 7 – Use AutoCAD® for detail and assembly drawing used in engineering.
- Tutorial 8 – Use AutoCAD® for developments. (Used in sheet metal and packaging.)
- Tutorial 9 – Use AutoCAD® to solve a packaging problem.
- Tutorial 10 – Introduction to architectural drafting using AutoCAD®.
- Tutorial 11 – Use AutoCAD® to produce architectural plans and elevations.
- Tutorial 12 – Completion of course requirements. Overview and demonstration of Inventor® 3D modelling. Free software downloads and demonstration.
- Graduation – Notification of Graduation details.
